Happy moments in the busy life (just a quick note)

When I've been writing in the past that "I'm busy" or "I have not much time for blogging" it was nothing comparing to this what happens now. There's not much time for moments like this, with bikes and cookies, in the forest. We try to spend every free moment together, so blogging had to step aside. I'll be back to regular blogging as soon as I can, but it will be about the middle of June or later.

Orange zest & tea cookies recipe

These cookies are just perfect. I like them, because the're crunchy and not to sweet. Szymon likes them because they're sweet and not too crunchy. Sounds impossible, when it comes to baking we like entirely different things but by making these cookies we struck a happy medium.

Ingredients: 2 cups wheat flour, 2 spoons of fragmented tea leaves, 230g butter, 1/2 cup sugar, 2 big spoons of candied orange zest.
In a blender mix butter until it's white and soft. Gradually add sugar. Mic four, tea and orange zest, add to the butter mass. Make a dough roll about 3 cm thich, put into the fridge for about 30 minutes. After this time slice the roll (slices must be about 4mm thick). Put the slices on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 munutes in 180ºC.

Easy blouse remake (kitties again!)

Honestly, I don't like to write DIY's that seem trivial to me. It's normal that if you have a hole in your favourite blouse, you get crafty and repair it. I'm just too crazy about cats lately and want to share daily dose of cuteness! Now two symmetric patches look like small pockets!

I did it because - as I wrote - my blouse was damaged on the right, but you can make it to any boring piece of clothing you have. It's the easiest wy to change it, even sewing skills are not needed!

1. You need to buy the iron-on patches, for example here. 2. Choose the one you want to use. 3. Make a pattern (use your imagination, it can be anything!) and cut. 4. Iron in the way it's described in the instruction given to iron-on patches. 

1. Kup termo łaty - moje tak się nazywały;) 2. Wybierz kolor pasujący do rzeczy, na której chcesz naprasować łatę. 3. Wytnij wymyślony przez Ciebie kształt i 4. przyprasuj w czasie i temperaturze zgodnymi z instrukcją.

My herbal list

This year I'm gonna be a herbalist. There is plenty of healthy substances, microelements in the plants everywhere around - in the garden, in the nearby forest.  I made a small to-pick list for each month for me and encourage you to do the same. Wherever you live - whether it's US, Brasilia or New Zeland - there's sure a lot of goods around;)

W tym roku mam zamiar pobawić się w zielarstwo. Zioła są naokoło - w ogrodzie, w lesie - wszędzie. Zrobiła miesięczną listę roślin do zbierania, zachęcam do zrobienia tego samego! Zawsze możecie skorzystać też z mojej listy, polecam spróbować razem ze mną;)

Chocolate day

Today I finally managed to meet up with some of my friends. We spent the whole afternoon on cooking, baking and watching TV series. We made chocolate brownies from this recipe. 

It was just one of many silly days in my life, I think I've never share one on the blog before though.

NOTE: All of these happy faces are caused by chocolate!

Chyba jeszcze ani razu nie napisałam posta o zwykłym dniu z życia. Zdjęcia chyba mówią wszystko. Upubliczniam je dlatego, że pokazują co najmniej dwie rzeczy, które lubię - pieczenie i kwiaty (dużo kwiatów w różnych postaciach!). I oczywiście czekoladę;) Brownies z tego przepisu.

Spring etsy update!

I've been waiting a while to announce it officially. Here it is! The etsy update. Although these things might look simple, designing, sewing and taking pictures took me about 3 months. I decided not to hurry and it was a good decision. Hope you like the results! You can find it all here.

Czekałam, by oficjalnie ogłosić ponowne otwarcie sklepu. Mimo że te rzeczy mogą wydawać się proste, projektowanie, szycie itp. zajęły mi około 3 miesiące. Postanowiłam nie spieszyć się i była to dobra decyzja. Mam nadzieję, że Wam się podoba! Możecie znaleźć to wszystko tu.

I think I'll start to capture the results of my hair care by making animated gifs. It shows each part of my hair from different angles. How do you like the idea? More gifs (especially cat-themed) to come soon;)

Myślę, że zacznę uwieczniać rezultaty dbania o włosy w postaci takich animowanych gifów. W ten sposób widzę każdą część włosów z różnych kątów. Jak Wam się podoba ten pomysł? Więcej gifów (szczególnie kocich) już niedługo;) PS: Konkurs dla polskich odwiedzających, zapraszam!
